Paying in to your eccount
There are a number of ways to pay in to your eccount. Whether you wish to pay in cash or cheques, receive bank transfers from friends and relatives, or have your wages, salary or any benefits paid in to your eccount, it couldn’t be simpler.

Salary and Wages
Use your eccount as an alternative to a basic bank account. You can have your wages or salary paid directly to your eccount safely 3-5 days from when your employer sends the funds. It is FREE to have your wages and any benefits paid in.
Simply hand your personal eccount details to your employer and ask them to pay your wages or salary to those details:

Your eccount number is: unique to you and can be found at the bottom of your VISA card. This is provided during your application.
Benefits payments
You can have your benefits payments paid directly into your eccount. Simply hand your personal eccount details to the relevant benefits agency and they will make your payments directly to your eccount. You will need to use the following details:

Your eccount number: This is unique to you and can be found at the bottom of your VISA card. Your eccount number is provided during your application.
Bank Transfers
You can receive bank transfers into your eccount using your personal eccount details. Credits usually credit your eccount within 3-5 days. It is FREE to receive bank transfers into your eccount.

Please note: Whilst we accept credits made using the Faster Payments service, they will usually clear into your eccount on the following day.
Paying in cash
Cash can be paid in to your eccount over the counter at any PayPoint location or Post Office branch. Simply take your eccount money prepaid VISA card along and hand it over to the cashier with your cash.
Pay in cash at any Post Office branch in the UK. No forms to fill in, simply take your card and your cash to any Post Office counter. Cash paid in at Post Office branches will be available in your eccount within 3 working days. There is no charge for using this service.
Pay in cash at over 23,000 convenient locations nationwide. Cash paid in at PayPoint locations will be available in your eccount the very same day. There is a charge for this service.
You can also print a barcode in order to pay in cash before you receive your VISA card.
Note: Cheques cannot be paid in at PayPoint locations or Post Office branches. Please see terms and conditions for any fees relating to these services)
Paying in Cheques
You can pay in cheques using our postal cheque cashing service. Simply follow these steps:
- Write your eccount number and name on the reverse of the cheque you wish to pay in
- Send your cheque to: eccount money, PO BOX 3779, Chester. CH1 9YG.
- Your cheque will be processed and paid into your eccount within 10 working days.
Only GBP (£) cheques can be paid in to your eccount. There is a charge for this service.
